YEA! Gets Superpowered With Empowerly
The Princeton Regional Chamber Foundation is proud to announce a partnership with Empowerly to add a unique element to its Young Entrepreneur's Academy (YEA!). The Foundation launched the first NJ-based cohort of the Young Entrepreneur's Academy in fall of 2025 in partnership with The College of New Jersey. Through YEA, Mercer County high school students spend 30 weeks building and launching their own real businesses.
Empowerly provides comprehensive college counseling services tailored to each student's unique admissions journey. Through the YEA!-Empowerly partnership, students in the YEA cohort will have the opportunity to work with Empowerly counselors to learn how to leverage their YEA experience during the college admissions process. Additionally, parents and guardians of YEA students will have the opportunity to learn more about the changing landscape of college admissions from an Empowerly counselor.
"This partnership is a win-win for the Chamber Foundation and for YEA," said Foundation Director Gretchen DiMarco. "Our YEA students are some of the best and brightest high school students in Mercer County, and we want to give them every opportunity to pursue their goals - both as business owners and as students. Giving these students access to the expertise that Empowerly provides is a prime example of how the Chamber Foundation is leveraging the resources available in our business community to help students achieve success."
"In keeping with our mission to empower students' futures for college and beyond, Empowerly College Counseling is thrilled to partner with the PMRC to advance the breadth and depth of the Young Entrepreneurs' Academy. From college preparation to program acceptance and beyond, we empower students to achieve their academic goals with confidence, ensuring they thrive no matter where their unique path leads them."
