Experience "The Art of Deception": an Intimate Evening of Close-up Magic

This October, Chamber members Adriana Groza and Ethan Gordon are hosting an evening where contemporary fine art and the art of illusion collide.

On October 29th at 7:00 PM, the Adriana Groza Art Studio & Gallery opens its doors for The Art of Deception: An Intimate Evening of Close-up Magic, featuring local magician Ethan Gordon.

Designed as a refined parlor experience (including a complimentary glass of wine), the event bypasses large auditorium stages in favor of immersive, interactive storytelling. Ethan, whose background in videography allows him to fuse cinematic storytelling with sleight-of-hand, performs feet away from guests, turning the gallery into an interactive theater of shared wonder.

"Magic is an art form that can only be experienced live," says Ethan. "Pairing artistic deceptions with the expressive visual art of Adriana Groza creates an atmosphere that invites conversation and curiosity." “When people are surrounded by original art, they feel better, think better thoughts, and make better decisions,” says Adriana. “Art changes the energy of a room and the way you see what’s in front of you. Ethan’s magic does that in seconds. For one evening, guests get both: a space that lifts them up and a performance that makes them question what they see.”

For those unfamiliar with Adriana’s Award Winning art, Adriana Groza paints big. Her large-scale fluid acrylic florals pour movement, energy and color onto custom-built canvas, and each one is made to transform the room it hangs in.

Born in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, Adriana came to the U.S. on Thanksgiving Day 2004. She spent over a decade in sales and helping small businesses grow before trading spreadsheets for canvas. Today she is the Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber’s 2026 Entrepreneur of the Year and a juried exhibitor at the Philadelphia Flower Show.

Her studio and gallery at 38 Spring Street in downtown Princeton is where it all happens. Come see her latest work, join an event, or explore her Corporate Art Program, which brings original art into offices from concept to installation.
